The Family of Vivian Sando, who was killed recently, is demanding answer from authorities of the Liberia National Police on how Vivian’s suspected killers were released.
Vivian, a former female soccer star, was also serving as a team manager for the Female National Team of Liberia before her death.
The Family has expressed also concern over the slow pace of the investigation by the Liberia National Police.
They frowned at the Police for the manner in which they are handling of the case, particularly regarding the suspicious release of two suspects.
The family is demanding answers and accountability for the death of their daughter.
Describing Vivian as a loving and caring mother as well as a friend to many, the family lamented that Vivian’s untimely death has left a void in the Liberian soccer community.
On April 29, 2024 shortly after Vivian left a party following a soccer match, she was attacked by unknown individuals leading to her death. The body of Vivian was found lying on the Japanese Freeway during the early morning hours of April 30, 2024 by marketers who raised alarm.
