The House of Representatives has categorically clarified that at no time did President Joseph Nyuma . Boakai meet with Speaker Richard Nagbe Koon to warn him about settling the ongoing crisis within the House or risk losing his support as Speaker of the 55th Legislature.

The House further stated that these allegations are baseless, misleading and part of a campaign of lies and propaganda designed to disrupt the progress of the House of Representatives.

Members of the House used the occasion to pledge that they remain fully committed to their constitutional duties and will not be diverted from their mission of serving the people of Liberia.

“The focus of Speaker Koon, Deputy Speaker Thomas Pangar Fallah and all members of the House of Representatives is unwavering,” they emphasized.  At the same time, they maintained their determination to work in the best interest of Liberia, ensuring that the people’s concerns are heard and addressed effectively.

Additionally, the House of Representatives stressed that it remains united in its dedication to strengthening Liberia’s democratic process and advancing the nation’s development. By Julius Konton
