The Government of Liberia (GOL) through the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) has ordered all land borders with neighboring countries, Guinea and Ivory Coast, closed beginning today, April 22, 2025, due to the ongoing Bye-Election held in Nimba County.
The LIS said that beginning at 6:00 AM up to 6:00 PM, all travelers along the borders are asked to act per this order from the Government of Liberia.
