ABK Incorporated has successfully delivered a 60-vehicle fleet to the National Transit Authority (NTA), marking the fulfillment of a major transportation partnership aimed at strengthening public transit services across Liberia.
The final batch of 25 vehicles, comprising 20 fifteen-seater buses and five cargo trucks, was officially turned over to the NTA on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. This follows the successful delivery of the first fleet of 35 sixty-two-seater buses received by the NTA last year under the contractual agreement between the two institutions.
The completion of the fleet delivery highlights ABK Incorporated’s growing reputation as a reliable supplier of quality transportation solutions in Liberia. The company consistently delivers on time and meets its contractual obligations, supporting large-scale transportation and logistics projects that contribute to national development.
Speaking on the milestone, the CEO of ABK Motors noted that the successful fulfillment of the contract reflects the company’s dedication to providing durable, efficient, and cost-effective vehicles tailored to meet the needs of both public and private sector institutions.
The newly delivered vehicles are expected to enhance the operational capacity of the National Transit Authority by expanding passenger transport services and strengthening cargo movement capabilities. The addition of both passenger buses and cargo trucks will enable the Authority to improve service delivery while responding more effectively to the transportation needs of communities across the country.
For ABK Incorporated, the completion of the 60-vehicle contract represents another significant achievement in its mission to contribute to Liberia’s transportation sector through dependable automotive solutions and exceptional customer service. The company continues to position itself as a trusted partner for organizations seeking modern, high-quality vehicles backed by strong technical support and after-sales service.
As Liberia’s transportation sector continues to evolve, partnerships such as the one between ABK Incorporated and the National Transit Authority underscore the important role of private-sector investment and collaboration in building a more efficient and accessible transportation network for the nation.
The successful completion of this landmark fleet acquisition stands as a testament to ABK Incorporated’s commitment to delivering value, reliability, and transportation solutions that drive progress and support national growth.
According to authorities at the NTA, this final batch includes 20 passenger mini-buses and 5 cargo trucks, completing the fleet expansion which began with the earlier delivery of 35 mass transit buses.
The newly arrived vehicles are specifically intended to expand accessibility: The 18-seater mini-buses are designed to reach remote communities and underserved areas along feeder roads. The 5 heavy-duty cargo trucks (the first in NTA history) will be utilized for logistics and the movement of goods across Liberia.
NTA rolled out its second batch of vehicles, which included 20 brand-new, fully air-conditioned 18-seater mini-buses. These vehicles were brought in to expand public transport capacity and assist commuters in remote and underserved communities along feeder roads.
These mini-buses arrived as part of a broader contract with ABK Motors Incorporated. Key operational details for this latest fleet expansion include, the 18-seater buses specifically service crowded or remote feeder-road communities. Notable routes include Barnesville, Johnsonville, New Georgia, and the 72nd Boulevard to ease local transport challenges.
