President Joseph N. Boakai has landed by road in Sierra Leone for a High-Level discussion with President Julius Maada Bio to enhance bilateral ties between the two African countries.
Speaking over the weekend, Presidential Press Secretary Kula Fofana said President Boakai and his delegation are expected to stay four working days in Sierra Leone.
While there, President Boakai will meet with President Maada Bio and his Sierra Leonean counterpart to discuss transformative initiatives aimed at advancing economic development, regional stability and sustainable growth.
Madam Fofana disclosed that key discussions will center around boosting trade and investment, improving infrastructure, and advancing joint initiatives in agriculture and tourism; regional security and cooperation under the Mano River Union (MRU) Framework will also be a top priority.
The Presidential Press Secretary said the Liberian leader will also engage with the MRU Secretariat and participate in an Agricultural and Tourism Fair hosted by the Liberian Embassy in Freetown.
