At least eighteen people were killed in a tragic motor accident on Sunday, October 27, 2024 on the Kakata highway in #7 Margibi County.
Eyewitnesses told OK FM Correspondent Joekai G. Yango that the accident occurred when a speeding bus carrying 18 passengers from Kakata ran into a packed truck containing a huge quantity of planks.
According to the report, medical practitioners confirmed that 13 individuals died on the scene, while 5 persons died upon being taken to medical facilities in Margibi and Monstserrado Counties. Meanwhile, Police are said to be probing into the circumstances that might have led to the accident.
