As part of a rigorous inspection of the President’s 100-Day Deliverables Special Road Maintenance Project, Deputy Public Works Minister for Technical Services, Prince Tambah is leading a nationwide tour aimed at inspecting major road corridors where maintenance works are ongoing.
Speaking at the start of the tour on Tuesday, May 8, 2024 in Bomi County, Deputy Minister Tambah said the Ministry is upbeat at the level of works along various road corridors so far.
According to him, the Team has embarked on a fourteen-day massive supervision of maintenance works along the Brewerville to Gboe Road in Bomi County, Boah to Bopolu, Buchanan to ITI in Rivercess County, Pleebo to Barclayville, amongst others.
Deputy Minister Tambah hailed President Joseph Nyuma Boakai for prioritizing roads connectivity as a flagship pillar of the ARREST Agenda.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improve the condition of major primary roads, thereby alleviating the challenges commuters face.
