38 Health Workers Depart For China Seminar …On Public Health, Health Standardization Cooperation

Thirty-eight health workers from the Ministry of Health have departed for China to participate in a seminar on public health and health standardization, as part of ongoing cooperation between the two countries. The delegation includes county health officers, medical directors, and senior health administrators, among others. The program is organized by Hunan International Business Vocational College.

Dr Whesseh Jude, County Health Officer for Grand Bassa County, is leading the delegation. The seminar will take place in Changsha, in China’s Hunan province, from 2nd to 15th June 2026.

The training aims to strengthen collaboration in public health, improve health standardization practices, and build professional capacity among Liberian health personnel through exchanges with Chinese counterparts. The Ministry of Health expressed appreciation to the government and people of China for the opportunity.
