A group under the banner “United NPA Workers To Promote Good Management” at the National Port Authority (NPA) has extolled the Managing Director of the port for promoting good governance amongst employees.
Speaking Wednesday, November 12, 2024 in Monrovia, the Chairperson of the group, Tracy W. Kpehe, said since the appointment of Managing Director Sekou Dukuly, there have been tremendous and delightful facelift at the entity.
She said the NPA boss has regularized staffers’ benefits, something that has brought major comfort to employees, as well as the revamp of the port’s only clinic that has been down for years, and the reactivation of the local travel policy across all staff.
Madam Kpehe said the NPA Managing Director facilitated twenty-five employees to China for basic and technical training in seaport operation and other related disciplines.
She said Manager Director Dukuly has also recognized and empowered women in Maritime at the port and procured brand new vehicles to be used for the effective operations of NPA.
Madam Kpehe also hailed the reactivation of the biometric system as well as equipment of various offices with basic up-to-date corporate demand.
