Lofa County Senator Momo Cyrus, who also serves as the Chairman of National Security and Veteran Affairs in the Liberian Senate, made donations to members of the county’s joint security forces over the weekend. The contribution included rice and rain gear.
This recent donation follows a previous contribution made on Tuesday, July 23, 2025, when Senator Cyrus provided 500 pieces of rain gear and 1,000 reflective jackets to the Liberia National Police. In Lofa County, Senator Cyrus donated approximately 300 bags of rice and 150 rain gear sets to officers of the Liberian Joint Security. He made these donations as a gesture of support during Liberia’s 178th Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Liberia’s joint security agencies include the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), the Liberia National Police (LNP), the Liberia Fire Service (LFS), and the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA). The donations brought smiles to the faces of officers in Lofa County. “We are very excited about the donations provided by our own Senator and Chairperson on National Security and Veteran Affairs of the Liberian Senate because they are timely,” commented the officers of the Joint Security.
