The Liberia National Police (LNP) on Monday, December 15, 2025, announced a nationwide security operation for the festival season of Christmas and New Year. Commissioner for Operations, Prince Davis, disclosed that there will be more police officers visible across the country and asked the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activities in their areas.
The LNP said as part of this operation, officers will be stationed at main intersections, public places, and areas known for crime, to protect citizens during the celebrations. The entity has committed to keeping the peace and ensuring a safe environment for everyone to enjoy the season. However, the LNP reminded the public that safety is everyone’s responsibility and encouraged strong cooperation.
