Inspector General, Gregory O.W. Coleman has assured Nigerians residing in Liberia of police protection as long as they remain within the confines of the laws of Liberia.

Coleman said protection of the rights of all those residing in Liberia is paramount to his administration.

The Inspector General made the remarks on Monday, May 13, 2024 when a delegation of the Nigerian Community and Descendent Union in Liberia paid a courtesy visit at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police.

Speaking earlier, the President of the Nigerian Community and Descendant Union in Liberia, Deacon Harrison Eva Anikwu expressed his group’s willingness to work with the Liberia National Police in fighting crimes.

He said Nigerians are proud people and will do nothing to undermine the peace of Liberia.
