Mr.-Brownie-J.-Samukai-Executive-Chairperson-of-Yellow-Machine

The Executive Chairperson of Yellow Machine has disclosed that over 900 Liberians will be employed across the 15 counties. Mr. Brownie J. Samukai told journalists at a press conference on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, that these individuals will operate and maintain the machines. Counties will recruit residents, ensuring that the benefits of the program remain within the communities.

Meanwhile, applications for operators and mechanics, initially due March 30, have now been extended to April 2026.

Chairman Samukai said that selected operators will receive specialized training, including instruction from Chinese suppliers of the equipment. He disclosed that a fuel hub will be established in each county with essential facilities, including fuel storage ranging from 13,000 to 15,000 gallons, maintenance bays, and lighting for operations.

While resources are limited, the setup ensures machinery is serviced, secured, and ready for deployment. Samukai emphasized that President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has no intention of letting these machines sit idle, as they are meant to serve the counties immediately and effectively.
