The Minister of Commerce & Industry (MoCI), Magdalene Ellen Dagoseh, says the success of the Joseph Boakai-led Government does not only rest on the know-hows of those chosen to serve, but their strength and collaboration.
Minister Dagoseh admonished colleagues who are privileged to serve to see themselves as individuals united in mission to contribute to the advancement of their country through the ARREST Agenda.
She said each commissioned government official represents a unique sector of Liberian society, adding that no sector can succeed without taking into account the importance of collaboration.
The Commerce & Industry Minister observed that the challenges each institution of the government faces are interconnected and that the solution being sought must therefore reflect the team spirit.
“From commerce to health care, from infrastructure to agriculture, and from security to governance, each ministry plays an essential role in building a strong and resilient Liberia,” she added.
Minister Dagoseh made the call recently at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, when she spoke on behalf of cabinet members who were commissioned by Liberian Chief Executive, Joseph Nyuma Boakai.
A Ministry of Commerce & Industry release under the signature of its Communications Director, Jacob N.B. Parley quotes Minister Dagoseh as saying, President Boakai’s leadership represents a beacon of hope, integrity, and progress.
Madam Dagoseh expressed confidence about Liberia making the needed progress under the guidance of President Boakai at all levels; including the pursuit of social, political, and economic development. She also added that the Liberian Chief Executive’s desire for a better Liberia is one that has inspired many Liberians.
The Commerce & Industry Minister, on behalf of fellow commissioned cabinet members recommitted themselves to President Boaka’s vision for Liberia, describing it as one that is rooted in justice, equality, and opportunity for all Liberians.
Perhaps considering that the path ahead might not always be easy, she assured the Liberian Leader about their determination to build on the gains made, while efforts to address current ones remain unwavering. Minister Dagoseh commended the Liberian Leader for the confidence reposed in them to serve their dear country.
