The National Elections Commission (NEC) has commenced a two-day working session to review its Human Resource (HR) Policy Manual with election magistrates and assistants. The ongoing workshop aims to familiarize magisterial staff with the draft of the revised HR Policy Manual and solicit inputs to ensure the document reflects the realities of field operations.

Speaking at the opening session in Ganta, Nimba County on Monday, 3 November 2025, NEC Chairperson, Davidetta Browne Lansanah updated participants on institutional progress and activities. The NEC Boss admonished staff to remain committed and diligent in the discharge of their duties.

The HR Policy Manual Review Committee, chaired by the Deputy Executive Director for Administration, Samuel B. Cole, comprises administrators, legal experts, and human resource management professionals from both the NEC and UNDP-Liberia Electoral Support Project. Following the ongoing engagement, the committee will extend discussions to headquarters staff before finalizing the document for submission to the Board of Commissioners for review and approval.
