As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, Lutech Engineering (Liberia) Limited has donated assorted office materials to the headquarters of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS). The donated items include computers, office chairs, office tables, and other essential office supplies aimed at improving the working environment and operational efficiency of the institution.

According to a release sent to this publication on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Lutech Engineering’s Liberia Country Finance Head, Rajeshwar Prasad Yadav, said the donation demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting national institutions in Liberia. He explained that after assessing the needs of the Liberia Immigration Service, the company deemed it necessary to identify with the institution and contribute to the effective discharge of its duties.

Receiving the donation, the Commissioner General of the Liberia Immigration Service, Col. Elijah Rufus, expressed gratitude to Lutech Engineering for what he described as a timely and meaningful gesture. He noted that the donated items will significantly enhance the institution’s operations. The donation ceremony was attended by the Commissioner General, the Deputy Commissioner General for Administration, the Director of Administration, the Chief of Human Resources, and other senior LIS officials.
