The Liberia Football Association (LFA) Ethics Committee has officially lifted the suspension of Grace Weah, popularly known throughout Liberia as “Master Queen,” the president of Determine Girls Football Club.

Weah was handed an indefinite suspension in 2025 following a public outburst directed at the LFA after its 2024 Annual Awards Ceremony. The controversy stemmed from the omission of several players from Determine Girls FC, who had guided the club to the league championship, from the list of award recipients and nominees.

The decision sparked strong reactions from the club president, whose criticism of the football governing body led to disciplinary action by the LFA Ethics Committee. Since then, Weah has remained on the sidelines, unable to participate in official football-related activities under the jurisdiction of the association.

With the suspension now lifted, Master Queen is free to resume her involvement in football administration and club activities. Her reinstatement marks the end of a year-long sanction and paves the way for her return to active leadership at Determine Girls FC.

The development is expected to be welcomed by supporters of the club and stakeholders within women’s football, as Determine Girls FC continues to play a significant role in the growth and development of the women’s game in Liberia.
