The management of John F. Kennedy Medical Center (JFKMC) has become aware of a video circulating on social media involving a patient who reportedly experienced post-operative complications following a cesarean section.
According to a press release dated June 17, 2026, the JFKMC extends its sincere empathy and support to the patient and her family during this difficult time.
Furthermore, the institution is deeply concerned about her condition and remains committed to supporting her care and recovery. We recognize the distress this situation has caused the patient, her loved ones, and members of the public who have expressed concern.
The management disclosed that out of respect for the patient and her family, and in keeping with patient confidentiality laws and medical ethics, JFK Medical Center will refrain from discussing this or any other patient case on social media platforms.
“While we are unable to discuss specific clinical details publicly, we wish to assure the public that management has been actively engaged with the patient’s family and remains committed to ensuring that she receives the necessary care, attention, and support”, the release stated
The institution continues to work closely with all relevant parties while respecting the patient’s privacy, dignity, and right to confidential medical care.
JFK Medical Center reaffirmed that they are committed to a thorough, transparent, and impartial review of all concerns surrounding this matter.
In keeping with established procedures, the individuals involved have been referred to the appropriate authorities for an independent review.
Pending the findings and recommendations, they have been placed on administrative leave from clinical duties as a precautionary measure, adding that action reflects the institution’s commitment to due process, accountability, and maintaining public confidence in the review process.
