The group emphasized that vonBallmoos’ election was expected, attributing it to his tireless efforts in the social security sector and his visionary leadership over the years. They noted that the Technical Commission on Contribution Collection and Compliance is an excellent fit for vonBallmoos, given its focus on safeguarding social security funding sources and addressing issues that extend beyond mere contribution collection—such as macroeconomic, technical, and operational questions.

They characterized him as an honest and fair leader.

Finally, the group congratulated DG vonBallmoos on his election and vowed to support him throughout his three-year term.
