Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon has alarmed over what he calls the prolonged and deafening public silence by the Joint Security investigating the over US$19.2 million Cocaine Case. According to the Montserrado County lawmaker, it’s becoming even more troubling and vexing since the incident was reported on June 8. He added, “And, it has been a week or a little over a week since any update was heard about progress made or being made (if any) in this case.” Dillon added that, to date, no Known culprit(s) have been apprehended, no charge(s) have been made, and no arrest has been made.

On his social media page, Dillon noted, “Silence is no longer understandable; silence is brewing even more public distrust and casting suspicions on the seriousness and credibility of the ongoing investigation.” He urged the Joint Security to come forth this week without fear or favor, noting, “The Joint Security must come forth this week! No fear; No favor!”
