The management of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) on Thursday, November 14, 2024, administered aptitude test to over 283 persons who have expressed interest through application for the various published positions.

The Forest 91 employees from various departments of the entity through a directive of the Civil Servant Agency (CSA). The retirement was done in line with the CSA standing order on retirement which gives retirees a three month grace period on payroll. The three month salary period ran from July 30, 2024 to October 31, 2024.

As the result of this retirement which created vacancies at the various departments, the management of the Forestry Development Authority published a vacancy announcement to the public to replace those retirees.

Various positions applied for are  as follows: Zone warden/ Chief Park warden twenty-one (21), Park Biologist nineteen (19), Law enforcement officer eighteen (18), Law Enforcement Ranger seventy-four (74), Chain of Custody Inspector fifteen (15), Chain of Custody Officer eleventh (11), Regional extension Officer (18), Research Officer eight (8), Nursery Ranger seven (7), Office Assistant thirteen (13), Security Officer twenty-five (25), Driver thirty (30), Inventory Officer seven (7), Community Engagement Ranger fourteen (14).

Management is therefore expected to publish names of applicants who will make a successful pass in the test for further scrutiny. The Human Resource Division of FDA supervised the test.
