His strong performances across the season convinced Dubai City FC’s management to extend his stay, with the new one-year contract serving as recognition of his contribution and continued development. The contract renewal marks another important milestone in Payne’s career as he looks to continue making an impact in the UAE while pursuing higher levels of professional football.

The extension also highlights the successful work of JK Academy agent Julius Jay Kwateh and his partners, who played a key role in facilitating Payne’s move to Dubai City FC and have continued to support his career progression. For Payne, the new deal is both a reward for his consistency and an opportunity to build on an encouraging first season as he continues to fly the Liberian flag abroad.
