Alliance Motor Corporation, one dealers of brand new vehicles, has received a two-man delegation from TATA Motors.
TATA Motors is one of the world’s leading multinational automotive companies headquartered in Mumbai, India. The team is in Monrovia for a two-day business discussion.
Members of the delegation are Mr. Vijay Singh Rathore, Deputy General Manager, and Vivek SARASWAT of TATA Africa based in the Ivory Coast. The delegation is in the country to pave way for a dealership agreement between Alliance Motors Corporation and TATA Motors.
The visiting TATA Motors officials were opportune, along with their Liberia counterpart, the Alliance Motors headed by its Managing Director, George E. Haddad, to have met with the Minister of Transport, Sirleaf Tyler.
The visit of TATA Motor’s officials in Liberia was aimed at establishing a dealership agreement with Alliance Motor Corporation, which signifies that the Boakai Administration is on the right trajectory for business, something which has given confidence to the international investor to come to Liberia.
TATA Motors was established 150 years ago, and is a leading global automobile manufacturing company with diverse portfolio including an extensive range of cars, sporting utility vehicles, buses, trucks, vans, pick-ups and defense vehicles.
It operates in several countries including India, the United Kingdom, South Korea, South Africa, China, Brazil, Austria and Slovakia through a strong global network of subsidiaries, associate companies and Joint Ventures (JVs), including Jaguar, Land Rover in the UK and Tata Daewoo in South Korea.
With the arrival of TATA Motors delegation, Liberians can be assured of the influx of more international investors in Liberia.
