Officials of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission have outlined new steps aimed at strengthening the fight against corruption across the country. Speaking on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, on OK FM, Executive Director James K. Kingsley said the Commission’s Five-Year Strategic Plan focuses on prevention, enforcement, public education, and building a stronger institution.

According to him, the plan provides a clear path to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in government operations. Director Kingsley also disclosed that the Commission is working to decentralize its operations by opening regional offices outside Monrovia. He said the move will bring anti-corruption services closer to citizens and increase public participation at the county level.

Meanwhile, Executive Assistant to the Executive Chairperson, Madam Vivian S. Akoto, announced the introduction of a revised Asset Declaration form, the establishment of a Service Delivery Desk, and the development of a National Baseline for Asset Declaration.

She believes that the Service Delivery Desk will improve public access to the Commission and encourage citizens to report alleged acts of corruption through the LACC official email address. Madam Akoto noted that the National Baseline for Asset Declaration will serve as a monitoring tool for public officials who are required by law to declare their assets.
