On Monday, December 1, 2025, the Liberia National Police (LNP) hosted the Sierra Leone Police at its headquarters in Monrovia to officially begin Day One of their bilateral engagement. According to a press release, Inspector General of Police Gregory O. Coleman warmly welcomed the delegation and opened the session, underscoring the importance of collaboration in strengthening regional security.
Head of the Sierra Leonean delegation, John Martin Senesie, expressed gratitude for the reception and highlighted the timeliness of this initiative. Furthermore, the engagement will span five days, focusing on improving border security, enhancing patrol operations, strengthening coordination, and promoting valuable experience sharing between the two institutions. The release states that as part of the activities, the Sierra Leonean team toured key LNP divisions, interacted with section heads, and observed daily operations.
