The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Education (MoE), has officially added 109 volunteer teachers in Grand Kru County to the national payroll. The disclosure was made by County Education Officer (CEO), Josiah Sloh Nagbe. He said the inclusion process is being completed between the months of October and November.

Nagbe praised the collaborative efforts that made this development possible, extending gratitude to District Education Officers and the Ministry’s Human Resources Department for their coordination and commitment to improving the education sector in the county. “Allow me to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Education for their efforts in reducing the disparity of volunteer teachers in Grand Kru,” Nagbe stated.

He also commended the county administration and the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus for their consistent support and cooperation since his appointment as County Education Officer. The addition of the volunteer teachers to the payroll is expected to strengthen the county’s educational workforce and improve instructional quality across schools in Grand Kru.
