The National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Blue Star High Tech Liberia Limited have announced the official launch of the 5/90 Ball Lotto Games in Liberia. This landmark, scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025, marks a significant milestone in the modernization of Liberia’s lottery and gaming sector.
According to a release dated November 11, the launch of the 5/90 Ball Lotto Games represents a new era of innovation, transparency, and responsible gaming in Liberia. This partnership aims to expand public participation in regulated lottery games while ensuring fairness, accountability, and adherence to international gaming standards.
Blue Star High Tech Chief Executive Officer, Clement Adu Sarpong, stated that the company is poised to create over 500 sustainable jobs for Liberians, with operations commencing in six counties: Montserrado, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Bong, Nimba, and Lofa. NLA’s Deputy Director General for Lotto Games, Richlue O. Burphy, expressed optimism that the new 5/90 Ball Lotto Games will enhance the Authority’s capacity to generate revenue for national development programs, create employment opportunities, and contribute to community initiatives. He reaffirmed the joint commitment of NLA and Blue Star to operating an open, secure, and credible lottery system that promotes public confidence and responsible play.
The official launch ceremony will be held at Blue Star High Tech’s draw room facility at LBS in Paynesville and will be attended by senior government officials, stakeholders from the private sector, representatives of the gaming industry, and members of the media.
