Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung has donated several medical supplies and equipment to Bahn Medical Center in Nimba Electoral District Seven. Materials donated include OR lights, a surgical unit, nematology equipment, an oxygen concentrator, an OR table, a chemical analyzer, and anesthesia medications. Surgical procedures were also performed by medical staff for residents of Nimba and beyond.
Presenting the items recently at Bahn Health Center, Adolphus T. Tayn, the VP’s Project Manager, stated that the donation reflects the Vice President’s commitment to fighting diseases and improving healthcare for all Liberians. “I want to see all Liberians healthy, because when they are healthy and in good condition, we will collectively contribute to the building of Mama Liberia,” he said.
Tayn noted that this gesture reinforces VP Koung’s long-standing commitment to enhancing healthcare services at the sub-national level. Residents of Zoe Geh Statutory District’s catchment communities for Bahn Health Center viewed the Vice President’s ongoing efforts as a clear demonstration of national leadership and a deep sense of responsibility toward humanity.
