Three Ladies Arrested For Drug Trafficking

A team of officers from the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), led by the Deputy Commander, conducted a search and seizure operation in the Tienpo and Younken communities of River Gee County.

According to a press release dated May 21, 2025, the operation resulted in the discovery of illegal substances in the homes of three female suspects. The confiscated items included half a plate of compressed marijuana, six wraps of marijuana, and one bottle of cane juice mixed with marijuana.

The total estimated street value of the seized substances is LRD 15,600.00.

The suspects arrested in connection with this discovery are Tetee Bestman, 38 years old; Naomi Bestman, 41 years old; and Lovetee Jimmy, 22 years old, all of whom are Liberian nationals.

Currently, the suspects are in the custody of the LDEA at its Fish Town City office, where they are undergoing investigation. They will be formally charged and taken to court for prosecution in accordance with Liberian law.
