United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA) handed over assorted IT equipment, office furniture and stationery to the Legislative Committee on Population and Development to be used by its Secretariat to enhance the important work of the Legislative Committee.
The items include 1 laptop, 1 desktop, 1 printer, 1 Projector, 1 executive desk, chairs and assorted stationery supplies. UNFPA Country Representative Bidisha Pillai said UNFPA is proud of its affiliation with the Legislative Committee on Population and Development.
Chair of Legislative Committee on Population and Development Senator Dabah Varpilah received the items on behalf of the Committee and thanked UNFPA for its support. She said they are commitment towards the work of the Committee and assured that the items will be used for their intended purposes.
