The Liberia Eco-Tourism Exploration recently embarked on, and completed the first field trip of the Martha M. Wright Heritage Tours for Schools. As part of the tour, about 100 students of the 10th and 11th grades of the Effort Baptist Church School in Paynesville were on Friday, February 14, 2014, taken to the famous Kpatawe Waterfall in Bong County
Speaking in an interview shortly upon their return, the Chief Executive Officer of the Liberia Eco-Tourism Exploration, George Wisner, described the trip as an exciting and wonderful experience for the students to learn about their culture.
According to Wisner, the trip was initially challenging but said everything went smoothly, while expressing hope that the next trip would be better.
Mr. Wisner also encouraged other schools contacted for the field trip to take advantage of the next trip expected in two weeks.
Meanwhile, some students of the Efforts Baptist School pleaded with their school and corporate companies to help them have more field trips to see some of the historic and memorable sites in the country.
The students are appealing to well established individuals and companies to assist the Liberia Eco-Tourism Exploration to take students on the Martha M. Wright Heritage Tours for Schools and Students.
