Rebel-style Speaker of the 55th Legislature, Richard Nagbe Koon, has held a one-on-one meeting with the Speaker of the Kingdom of Morocco’s Parliament, Rachid Talbi Alami.
The engagement, which took place in Morocco at the weekend, focused on strengthening parliamentary relations and advancing regional plenary discussions. During the meeting, Speaker Alami provided Speaker Koon with a tour of the Moroccan Parliament, allowing him the honor of sitting in the presiding officer’s seat.
The two leaders exchanged insights on their respective legislative institutions and explored avenues for enhanced cooperation between their parliaments.
As a gesture of friendship and diplomatic goodwill, Speaker Alami presented a special gift to Speaker Koon. He also expressed his desire to pay an official visit to the Legislature of Liberia, further solidifying the growing partnership between the two nations.
The meeting underscores Liberia’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations and engaging in collaborative discussions that promote legislative development and regional unity.
