The Managing Director of the National Port Authority (NPA) Sekou Dukuly has underscored the importance of unity and commitment among citizens of Bomi County to ensure success in the upcoming National County Sports Meet.
Speaking in Tubmanburg, Bomi County over the weekend, Dukuly said, “Our strength lies in our collective effort. I call on every citizen to rally behind our teams and provide the support needed to bring victory to our county.” He made the disclosure during the launch of the Bomi County Sports Association and rally for the upcoming National County Sports Meet.
At the same time, Dukuly has called on the youth to go back home and contribute to the growth and development of the county.
During the ceremony, NPA Managing Director was selected as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Ways, Means, and Finance for the County Steering Committee for the 2024/25 National County Sports Meet of Bomi County, Hon. Dukuly also met with a cross-section of youth and citizens at the Moses Vincent Compound Hall in Tubmanburg.
Addressing scores of youth and citizens of the county, he emphasized that the wave of transformative power of education and professional development must be felt in the County.
“Education is the cornerstone of progress. If we are to make a lasting impact on the transformation of Bomi County, we must prioritize learning and skill-building,” he stated.
The events held in Bomi County today highlighted Hon. Dukuly’s commitment to fostering both the sporting and educational aspirations of the County, ensuring a brighter future for its citizens.
