The Liberia Cyber Warriors Team is gearing up to represent Liberia for the third consecutive time at the prestigious ECOWAS Cybersecurity Regional Hackathon.  This year’s finals, which is scheduled for today, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in Nigeria, the team will compete against other top emerging cybersecurity teams from across West Africa.

The Liberia Cyber Warriors will be facing a competition from nations like Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Benin—each showcasing their most talented young cybersecurity professionals.

The ECOWAS Cybersecurity Hackathon offers a platform for youth empowerment, knowledge sharing and innovation. It’s a tremendous opportunity for the young participants to gain invaluable hands-on experience in addressing complex cybersecurity challenges. For Liberia, this participation highlights the growing expertise and resilience of its emerging cybersecurity community.
