The Technical Team of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) has disclosed that the ongoing water tower construction project in Kinjor is nearing completion with several residents expected to benefit. Kinjor is located in Darblo Clan, Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County.
The water tower project was launched by BMMC on 20 March 2024 in the Town of Kinjor with a population of over fifteen thousand inhabitants.
In order to ensure the supply of sustainable and quality water to citizens of host communities, BMMC hired a Professional Drilling Company, SENAN Group Limited Borehole Drilling & Construction Company to construct the water facilities in Kinjor and other host communities.
The water project is part of efforts by BMMC to address the issue of safe drinking water for residents.
Prior to the construction of these water tower facilities, BMMC had constructed and regularly repair hand pumps in its host communities.
Meanwhile, the Technical Manager of SENAN Group, Hannan Senan has assured citizens of Kinjor that his company is committed to providing quality water for them.
At the same time, citizens of Kinjor have expressed appreciation to the Management of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation for the timely intervention, stressing that the project will have significant impact on the host communities.
The Town Chief of Kinjor, Zinnah Darblo and the Youth Chairman Winston Korsor also lauded BMMC for undertaking several community driven projects over the years.
