The former Deputy Commissioner for Administration, Moses K. Yebleh, has officially launched his consultancy firm title: “Liberia Migration Consultancy incorporated at the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS).
Liberia Migration Consultancy Inc (LIBMIC) is designed to guide and assist migrants from start to the end journey so as to make migration regular, safe and orderly.
LIBMIC goal is to make migrants feel at home outside their home country through offering consultation and guidance that will be very meaningful.
According to LIBMIC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said his migration consultancy firm services extend to Liberians and other legal residents who want to migrate to other countries.
He noted that LIBMIC is in Liberia to share guidance on legal requirements and the legal mode of travel.
He pledged his migration consultancy partnership with relevant actors within the migration sector.
According to honorable Yebleh, the Liberia Migration Consultancy incorporated is providing the following services to the public: Residence Permit, Renewal of Residence Permit, Adjustment of Status, Re-Permit,Visa on Arrival, Temporary Service, Guiding clients to processes leading to Naturalization, among others.
For his part, Immigration Commissioner General Atty. Stephen J.H. Zargo pledged the LIS willingness in working with LIBMIC in addressing migration issues in the country.
According to the LIS CG, the new administration will tap on the experiences earned by its former deputy Commissioner General for Administration in providing conducive immigration atmosphere in Liberia.
Liberia Migration Consultancy incorporated official launched was well attended by some former and current government officials, including members of the diplomatic corps, among other.
Madam Melissa Jones, Program Coordinator at the International Organisation on Migration (IOM) officially launch LIBMIC.
She expressed her organisation preparedness in working along with LIBMIC in helping to handle some of the migration issues confronting Liberians.
Representative from the Ministry of Labor, also expressed the Ministry willingness to work with LIBMIC in addressing issues confronting work permit, and urged Liberia Migration Consultancy to use the decent work law during the discharge of their official duties.
The launching ceremony took place at the Mamba Point Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia.
