Police Inspector General Gregory O Coleman has vowed that criminal organizations will not prevail in Liberia again alluding to the ongoing investigation of over half a billion of narcotic arrested in the country.

In recent times, several individuals have been arrested in connection with the huge quantity of drugs seized by state security. Biago with President Joseph Nyuma Boakai ordering a full scare investigation into the LDEA boss’ recusal.

In a strong statement issued in connection with the ongoing probe into drugs activities, Inspector General Coleman noted, “Criminal organizations thrive where fear, silence, and institutional weakness prevail. They will not prevail in Liberia again. The Liberia National Police will not be intimidated, distracted, or deterred from enforcing the law.”

He added, “Our commitment is not to personalities, political interests, or public applause. It is to the Constitution, the laws of Liberia, and the safety and security of the Liberian people. No individual, network, or organization is above the law, and every case will be pursued based on credible evidence, due process, and lawful authority.”

Coleman in a strong worded statement added, “We will continue to identify and disrupt narcotics networks, protect communities, strengthen cooperation with national and international partners, and bring those responsible before the courts. We will remain professional, impartial, and accountable, but we will also remain resolute.”

He noted that Liberia’s fight against organized crime will not be won through intimidation, speculation, or political noise adding, “It will be won through disciplined investigation, courageous leadership, public cooperation, and the consistent application of the law.” Concluding, the Police Chief noted, “We will not retreat. We will not be distracted. We will continue to work firmly, lawfully, and without fear.”
