Cultural Queen Juli Ende on Saturday led members of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace in a colorful parade through the principal streets of Buchanan as part of activities marking Liberia’s 179th Independence Day celebration. The parade brought together hundreds of Crusaders dressed in coordinated attire, carrying the Liberian flag and spreading messages of peace, unity, and national pride.
The procession attracted scores of residents and visitors who lined the streets to witness the event. Traditional performances, patriotic songs, and cultural displays highlighted the celebration, while participants marched peacefully through the port city in observance of the country’s Independence Day.
Addressing the gathering, Ende urged Liberians to embrace peace, reconciliation, and unity as the nation continues its development journey. She said the significance of Independence Day goes beyond celebration, calling on citizens to work together in building a stronger and more prosperous Liberia.
