The House of Representatives has congratulated Mr. Cyrus Joel McGee on his election as President of the Association of Liberian Journalists in the Americas (ALJA) Midwest Chapter.
The Director of Press and Public Affairs of the House, Robert Haynes, extended heartfelt congratulations to the former Legislative Reporter, who previously served with distinction as Assistant Secretary for the Legislative Press Pool during the 53rd Legislature, demonstrating professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to advancing credible journalism both in Liberia and abroad. Currently, Mr. McGee is the Chief Executive Officer of the U.S branch of KMTV. On behalf of the Honorable House of Representatives, Director Haynes wishes Mr. McGee a successful and impactful tenure. He expressed confidence in McGee’s ability to provide exemplary leadership that will strengthen the journalism profession and uphold the highest ethical standards.
