The Liberia National Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has extended the 2024 School Candidate Registration process to Sunday, April 21, 2024 and also released schedule for the examinations.
According to a press statement, the decision by WAEC is aimed at giving dispensation to schools that have not completed the registration of their candidates to do so.
With the extension, it is expected that schools will complete the registration of their students or have themselves to blame.
WEAC stressed that there will be no further extension after the Sunday, April 21, 2024 deadline.
Meanwhile, the Management of WAEC Liberia has released a tentative timetable for the national examinations.
Students in grade nine will write their exams from May 27-29, 2024, while Third graders will be on June 5, 2024 and six graders from June 6-7, 2024.
The WASSCE Examinations for 12th graders will be administered from May 15, to June 5, 2024.
