A Muslim cleric is calling on the government to ensure fair distribution of the country’s resources.
Sheikh Askary M. Kromah, head of the Shia Muslims in Liberia, believes when the resources are fairly distributed, it will maximize collective social and economic values for all citizens.
He urged the Boakai Administration to focus on the development of roads, ensure a clean and safe water as well as electricity.
Sheikh Kromah made the call on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the AHYLUL- BAYILAS Central Mosque in Jah Tondon Town at program marking the end of Ramadan.
He asked Muslims to emulate the exemplary characters of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that made him unique among mankind.
“It was our Prophet’s character of honesty, trustworthiness, justice and fairness to all without discrimination that made his community an orderly one during his life time,” Kromah noted.
He called for greater efforts to promote a culture of tolerance and peace at all levels in the country
