Public school students have begun benefitting from the distribution of learning kits provided by Save the Children International (SCI) Liberia Office. Students at the Konken Public School in Potupo District, River Gee County, received the learning kits at the start of the distribution on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
The distribution of kits started with kids of the grade one class where 14 students were present. The 14 beneficiaries include eight males and four females.
The activity is part of SCI’s LEARN II Project. LEARN II is Liberia Empowerment through Attendance, Reading, and Nutrition second phase implementation being funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
