The Headquarters of the Liberia National Police was a scene of excitement from police officers and the Inspector General of Police, Col. Gregory O. W. Coleman when President Joseph Nyuma Boakai dedicated 20 fleet of vehicles to the LNP for its operations.

Receiving the vehicles, IGP Coleman assured Liberians and foreign investors of safety and security.

Col. Coleman confidence comes from the support he along with his team are receiving from President Joseph N. Boakai who is the head of state.

Speaking Friday, July 19, 2024, at the official commissioning ceremony of 20 vehicles, IGP Coleman said the donation of the police vehicles was basically turning words into deals and promises becoming a reality.

The Police IG thanked President Boakai for negotiating with partners for the vehicles which he said would greatly enhance the works of the Liberia National Police in responding to crimes and protecting the citizens and other nationals.

According to IGP Coleman, the action of President Boakai to have made the case for the rule of law signifies that he has made gains in achieving one of the Rs in the ARREST agenda.

The Police IG stated that it will help the LNP restore trust, legitimacy and upholding the rule of law indicating that, “It is cardinal in the nation’s history and is important at this time, and it cannot happen without the support from people like Ibrahim Mahamah.”

Col. Coleman assured Liberians that the Liberia National Police under his leadership will build the trust that will make citizens and foreign investors live in a free and safe environment.
