Authorities in Margibi County have arrested two drug suspects in the Lango Town community. The couple, Amaddu Fodana, 36, and Aren Johnson, 36, were apprehended with 76 pieces of Italian White and a dispenser plastic bag of Kush. Despite their arrest, the couple has repeatedly denied any involvement in the illegal sale of drugs in Margibi County.
The suspects have been forwarded to the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Kakata for further legal proceedings. This arrest highlights the ongoing drug issue in Liberia, and there are renewed calls for greater support for the Joint Security forces to effectively combat the illegal drug trade in the country.
