The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Grand Cape Mount County Detachment conducted a routine search operation at the Gbah Police Checkpoint, resulting in the arrest of 29-year-old Mohammed Kromah.

According to a press release dated June 11, 2025, the officers discovered the following illegal substances in Kromah’s possession: 3 compressed plates of marijuana, weighing a total of 2.5 kilograms, and 20 tablets of Tramadol Dirty. The total estimated street value of the confiscated drugs is estimated at LRD 87,500.00, approximately USD 460.26.

Suspect Mohammed Kromah has since been investigated, formally charged, and forwarded to the Madina Magisterial Court for trial.
