LIS Bomi County Commander Renovates Office, Erects New Billboard

As the saying goes, women are result-oriented in the discharge of their officials duties. So  this is  in the case of the current County Commander of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) of Bomi County Mercy Nagbe.

The Bomi County Commander  of Liberia Immigration Service (LIS)  is said to be making headways among her fellow counties commanders in Liberia.

According to information gathered, Nagbe was able to lobby along with her team  in securing two acres of land for use by the LIS  near Western Cluster in Bomi County.

The old building Office of the LIS in Bomi County was in a deplorable condition for many years. The  LIS Assistant Commissioner in Bomi County noted that the renovation of the county office speaks to her commitment in buttressing  the Government of Liberia’s efforts in addressing challenges confronting the county. According to her, the support to embark on the office renovation was provided  by the LIS counterpart in Region two.

Speaking over the weekend at the dedication ceremony of the renovated Office building of the LIS, Director Patrick Dolo, who proxy for the LIS Commissioner Genera-designate, Elijah Rufus, expressed his bosses’ appreciation to the LIS Bomi County Commander and her team for job well done.

According to Director Dolo,  Honorable Rufus and his team stands ready in providing the necessary support to the LIS Bomi County Commander and other counties commanders of the LIS in the country.

The just-ended renovation dedication ceremony was held in Bomi County capitol city, Tubmanburg. The event brought together members of the joint security in Bomi County, among others.
