Authorities of the Liberia immigration Service (LIS) and Blucrest University are set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at strengthening the operational efficiency of the LIS, particularly within its Naturalization Department.
According to information gathered, the partnership will focus on developing and deploying a modern digital records system to support the Management of previous Naturalization and Oath of Allegiance records, as well as improving the processing of current Oath of Allegiance applications. As part of the agreement, BlueCrest University will provide training for LIS officers in key areas, including education, research, and other capacity-building initiatives intended to modernize the institution’s workflow. The collaboration is expected to enhance data entry processes, improve record-keeping, and advance the overall effectiveness of Naturalization services across the country.
