Liberian Ministers’ Alliance of Delaware Valley Holds General Assembly

The Liberian Ministers’ Alliance of Delaware Valley (LMADV) held its highly anticipated General Assembly 2024 on Saturday, December 21, at the House of Wisdom in North East Philadelphia.  The event marked a significant milestone in the organization’s history, as members gathered to pass key resolutions that will shape the alliance’s future.

In a bold move, the LMADV resolved to maintain its spiritual identity while shifting its focus towards community engagement. This strategic decision is expected to strengthen its ties with the local community and foster greater collaboration with other organizations.

In line with this new direction, the LMADV also adopted changes to its leadership structure. The positions of President and Vice President will now be known as Executive Director and Associate Director, respectively. The Secretary General will be re-designated as Executive Secretary, while the Financial Secretary will become the Chief Financial Officer, with an assistant titled Assistant Financial Officer. The positions of Treasurer and Chaplain will remain unchanged.

To support its expanded community engagement efforts, the LMADV has secured a dedicated office space at Faith Immanuel Lutheran, located at 65 Penn Blvd. This strategic move will enable the alliance to harness resources, conduct business and better serve its member churches.

In another significant development, the leadership of the LMADV has acquired a 14-seated bus to alleviate transportation challenges and provide additional services to its member churches.

Apostle Natt E Miiler, Executive Director of the LMADV, expressed his enthusiasm for the assembly’s outcomes. “We are excited about the future of our organization and the opportunities that lie ahead. Our new focus on community engagement will enable us to make a more meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.”

The LMADV General Assembly 2024 marked a significant turning point in the organization’s history, as it embarks on a new era of community engagement, leadership and service.

In addition, LMADV conferred a prestigious honor on Honorable Chief Methuselah Z.O. Bradley, recognizing him as an honorary member of their board. This momentous occasion took place on Sunday, December 22, at the Faith Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.

Chief Bradley was visibly moved by the recognition, expressing his deep gratitude and joy at being bestowed with this esteemed honor. The ceremony served as a testament to Chief Bradley’s remarkable contributions and dedication to the community.

The LMADV’s decision to honor Chief Bradley underscores their commitment to acknowledging and celebrating outstanding individuals who have made significant impacts in their sphere of influence.
