Large-scale Trade Fair To Spark Growth In Business Landscape

The Zoom Network Inc, prominent Liberian-owned enterprise, is in discussion with the Government of Liberia to launch a large scale trade fair aimed at energizing the country’s business landscape. This move comes as part of a broader economic stimulus strategy involving both domestic and international stakeholders.

Zoom Network, known for its diversified portfolio covering agriculture, tourism, real estate, healthcare, education, road construction and technology, has signaled a strong commitment to national development. Speaking over the weekend, CEO Mr. Ibrahima Traoré revealed the company’s ambition to actively support the energy sector, an area he believes is pivotal to unlocking broader economic transformation.

Central to this initiative is a strategic partnership with Mr. Juan Nve Nguema Mbengono, a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO of I &S HNOS SL, Inc., based in Equatorial Guinea. Mr. Mbengono whose company engages in the importation of rice, vegetable oil, and olive wine, a quality European wine.

Speaking through an interpreter, he emphasized his confidence in Liberia’s market potential, adding that the collaboration would enhance food security and economic resilience.

“We are bringing international best practices, project management expertise, and sustainable planning to the table,” said Mr. Mbengono. “Our goal is to deliver long-term value and actionable insights to fast-track Liberia’s development goals.”

According to him, his company is financially equipped to pre-finance essential projects in Liberia as to enable the government of Liberia through his partner, Zoom Network to achieve its goal.  The trade fair, once formalized, is expected to serve as a vibrant platform for showcasing local products, attracting foreign investment, and bridging partnerships between Liberian businesses and international markets.

As talks progress, anticipation is building for what stakeholders are calling a “game changing step” in Liberia’s post-pandemic economic recovery.

This is a decisive show of support for the Government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID), Zoom Network, Liberia’s fastest-growing international company, is spearheading substantial investments across several vital sectors aimed at driving inclusive and sustainable growth nationwide.

As Liberia intensifies efforts to implement the ARREST Agenda, Zoom Network’s entry into the development space could signal a pivotal shift in how public-private collaboration shapes the country’s trajectory toward prosperity.
