Bill Jallah, aged 38, was forwarded to the Monrovia City Court on Friday, December 27, 2024, for allegedly murdering his girlfriend Princess Zuo in the Duport Road area. Jallah was charged with the crimes of Murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, and Aggravated Assault.

Upon receiving Defendant Jallah, Magistrate Ben L. Barco of the Monrovia City Court forwarded him to the Monrovia Central Prison (South Beach) and immediately transferred the matter to Criminal Court “A” based on the weight of the charges.

Defendant Jallah was investigated and charged by the Liberia National Police (LNP) for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend Princess Zuo to death in the Duport Road Community with what is alleged to be a knife.

Police investigation revealed that days before the horrific incident, Jallah caused significant embarrassment for Zuo at her workplace, and Zuo had informed Jallah’s father and sisters about his actions at her job which prompted his sister, Kormassa Jallah, to rush to the scene, where she met her brother.

According to the investigation, Zuo requested a discussion with Jallah at an entertainment center known as Fast Nikel, Joe Bar, Paynesville, between 6-7 PM as the discussion centers about Jallah’s behavior, as she reported to his father.

Police revealed that while at the center, Jallah started an argument with Zuo about her going out with friends on the night of Friday, December 20, 2024, without informing him and not answering his calls.

With this, Jallah’s aggressive behavior provoked Zuo, who then grabbed her bag and began walking toward Duport Road Junction in Paynesville but his sister Kormassa Jallah tried to reach Zuo and Jallah followed and blocked her (his sister).

The investigation said Kormassa prevented her brother, Bill from getting to Princess because of his anger, but allegedly stabbed his sister before stabbing his girlfriend several times in the chest.

Victim Zuo was rushed to ELWA Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The action of Defendant Jallah, according to police investigation, is intentional and willful, as he went to meet Zuo armed with a knife.

However, Jallah denied using a knife, adding that he used roasted fish and meat sticks to injure Princess; indicating that the meat and fish was bought while sitting with Zuo and his sister at the bar.
